1、 Purpose, Performance, and Characteristics

Flat gate valve is a member of the gate valve family. Like wedge gate valve, its main function is to control the on/off of pipelines, rather than regulating the flow rate of media in pipelines. Its advantages are low fluid resistance, easy opening and closing, short structural length, and unrestricted flow of pipeline media. The disadvantage is that the sealing pair has two sealing surfaces, which are more complex to process, expensive, and relatively tall compared to other valves. The opening and closing time is longer, and the relative friction between the sealing surfaces during opening and closing can easily cause scratches.

2、 Product Structure Features

1. The valve seat adopts a circular sealing ring and a floating valve seat structure with pre tension force, which enables bidirectional sealing of the valve inlet and outlet. The opening and closing torque of this structure is only that of ordinary valves, which can achieve easy opening and closing of the valve.

2. The valve seat adopts stainless steel (or cobalt chromium tungsten alloy) embedded or welded on the sealing surface, which has a dual seal to metal and metal to metal, and the sealing surface also has the function of removing dirt from the gate plate.

3. Metal to metal sealed valves are equipped with grease injection structures on the outside of the valve body. The grease enters the valve sealing surface through the grease injector and valve seat, achieving zero leakage of the valve.

4. The gate with diversion hole valve always matches the sealing surface, whether fully open or fully closed, and the sealing surface is protected from direct flushing by the medium, thereby extending its service life.

5. When the valve is fully open, the channel is smooth and straight, the flow resistance coefficient is extremely small, there is no pressure loss, and the pipeline can be cleaned by passing a rough ball.

6. This valve adopts a packing structure with self sealing ability, which does not require frequent adjustment. It is extremely lightweight to open and close, and has reliable sealing performance. The packing box is equipped with an auxiliary sealing grease injection structure, which has reliable sealing performance and truly achieves zero leakage, solving the problem of easy leakage at the packing of general valves.

7. When the valve is closed, it can automatically release the high pressure inside the chamber, ensuring safe use.

8. Fully enclosed structure, good protective performance, can adapt to all-weather requirements.

9. Valves are equipped with indicator rods or observation windows to indicate the opening and closing status of the valve.
