Reasons and treatment methods for valve leakage

Reasons for internal leakage:

1. Inadequate closure;

2. Joint surface damage;

3. The clearance between the valve core and the valve stem is too large, causing the valve core to sag or have poor contact;

4. Poor sealing material or stuck valve core.

How to handle:

1. Improve operation by reopening or closing;

2. Disassemble the valve and re grind the sealing surfaces of the valve core and seat;

3. Adjust the gap between the valve core and valve stem or replace the valve disc;

4. Disassemble the valve to eliminate jamming;

5. Replace or weld the sealing ring again
